Business Tax Account Expands to Partnerships & S Corps

The IRS has expanded its Business Tax Account (BTA) to partnerships and S corporations. The BTA is an online portal that allows users to view tax records, make payments, and manage tax obligations without calling or mailing the IRS.
Previously available only to sole proprietors and single-member LLCs, the BTA now lets authorized partners and S corp officers manage tax obligations and make estimated tax payments directly.
